Unlock Iphone 3gs Ios 6.0.1 Baseband 6.15.00 ?? Please help !!

Hi,

I am new to this forum and newbie to iphone too!!
I upgraded my Ios to 6.0.1 without backing any hashs or preserving baseband.So my phone was locked and stuck at activation.I was able to jailbreak and install cydia using sn0wbreeze and tried ultrasn0w and ultrasn0w fixer, but that didn't work for me.

So is there anyway i can get this phone unlocked to use my sim.

Install 4.1 Ipsw. Downgrade it while apple is still signing that iOS. Then jailbreak so u can install ultrasn0w.

It worked, thanks mate...a little help though...i've a 3g which stucks at boot every time a try a custom firmware(3.1.3 and 4.1) and itunes gives 1015 error on original firmwares..don't know what to do??

Yes it does that but ur on the right track. Start tiny umbrella and click on fix recovery. Or start redsn0w and got to extra, and click on fix recovery.
That's what I do to get out of that loop

pls help! after updating my iphone 3gs ios4.1 bb 6.15.00 to ios 6.0.1 in itunes i can't pass or complete activation. the message says "sorry,we are unable to complete your activation at this time" try again later or call customer service. and my phone always searching for signal even without a sim card installed. i bought the phone in italy last 2010.unlocked and jailbreak it after.PLEASE HELP ME

Reflash the iPad baseband with redsnow. That will fix the activation issue.

tnx sir for the help.its activated. but my problem now is "NO SERVICE" and keep on searching for signal without sim card installed.how can i make it work or to unlock?my iphone 3gs still on ios 6.0.1 bb 6.15 NB...do i have to downgrade it back to ios 4.1? i tried but i always get error on itunes(3194). please let me know the steps to make phone work again.tnx again.. happy new year

No service huh...ummm try going in to cydia and add the source iparelhos.com then go into search and search for ultrasn0w then install ultrasn0w and also ultrasn0w fixer iOS 5.0 well it says something along the lines of that give it a shot im pretty sure it'll work

What carrier is the phone locked to?

ultrasn0wn is not compatiable with ios 6 yet....... that's couple reason no sevice.
