What circumstances would cause a SAM-unlocked iPhone to go from WildcardActivated to just "Activated"?

I recently updated my iPhone 4 FW 5.0.1 (BB 4.11.08) to 6.0.1 semitethered. No baseband update, and my previously saved activation tickets were used for the process. All was working beautifully.

Until...

Facetime/iMessage/Push stopped working. First it was iMessage and Facetime, then in trying to get those to work, I "Reset Network Settings" and that killed Push. I downloaded SAM to investigate the status and noticed that I was just "Activated". Redsn0w reported the same.

I'm not sure if FaceTime/iMessage/Push not working were correlated to the update, as it didn't happen right away.

I eventually downgraded back to 5.0.1, and Facetime/iMessage/Push work now. I will try updating back to 6.0.1 to see if the issue replicates.
