what does the "(not with jailbreak)" exactly mean? i just restored/updated a custom ipsw with sn0wbreeze to iOS 5.1.1 baseband 4.12.01 and its jailbroken / hacktivated

So my device is jailbroken does that mean i wont get the service or what?

It means that the seller is selling a "permanent unlock" rather than a jailbreak unlock solution (e.g. ultrasnow). I believe you need to restore your phone on itunes anyways to unlock (and restoring removes the jailbreak).

you will have to remove the hacktivation in order to activate. If your phone is jailbroken it does not necessary mean that you will not be able to unlock because I've unlocked a lot of jailbroken phones before. However, if your phone is giving you trouble then the best thing to do is to restore.

Back up first, submit your IMEI and then restore from back up with non carrier sim. If unlocked, iTunes will inform you. Also you can submit your IMEI and verify your unlock. Google, IMEI unlock checker.
