Default Trying to upgrade iOS. Iphone 4 / baseband 02.10.04 / gevey sim unlocked / jailbroken

Trying to upgrade to ios 5 or 6.

I read that 5.1.1 is unsigned so I can't do that anymore. Then I read something about cydia getting SHSH blobs. I never done this before so I dont know what that means.

    Any help will be appreciated!

Shsh blobs are firmware that the device was on while it was jailbroken. You have to save your blobs just incase apple stop signing that firmware in order to upgrade or downgrade.

Apple stop signing 5.1.1. if you update to iOS 6 you will lose your unlocked. Your best bet is to update to iOS 5 but use snowbreeze or redsn0w to preserve your baseband.

I think iOS 5.0.1 hasn't been signed yet so that might be an option for you. Always remember to preserve your baseband.
