Iphone 4 on 6.0.1 and Baseband 04.12.02

Hi can the above be unlocked as its a uk 02 phone and wanna put a rench sim card in it for my uncle as he wants to buy it and lives over there

any help would be appreciated

There isn't any software unlock for this baseband. The only way is to request 02 to factory unlock your IMEI number or search on Ebay legit seller with many positive feedback which will also IMEI unlock it for you. The costs isn't very much.

hi thanks for the reply...thought this baseband and os can be downgraded to 5.1 and then it could be unlocked. Take it a gevey wont work either

Os can be downgrade ya baseband not on iPhone 4 sorry
