    Default 3gs "factory unlock" so service/searching
    hi im new to the forum and im looking for help with this issue but i recently got a "factory unlock" and i was able to activate my phone in itunes. it recognizes my phone number i checked my imei on iPhone IMEI Checker with SIMLock Status & Fast AT&T USA Iphone Unlock Service ! and it says im activated. i got my unlock from unlock boss on ebay. im running ios 6.0 with 05.16.07 it recognizes i have new voicemails but i have no service im trying to use t-mobile. ived been unlocking/jailbreaking iphones since the first iphone and this is the 1st time i cannot figure out what the hell is going on. any help guys??

    Do you have the correct APN settings for T-Mo in settings/general/network/cellular data?

    idk if this is correct now that you mention it but this is what i have:

    cellular data
    apn: epc.tmobile.com

    mms
    apn: epc.tmobile.com
    mmsc: mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    mms proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
    mms max: 1048576

    It just might be my area (socal), however, I am using my iPhone without any APN settings and still getting internet service. We also get 3G here ;D.

    Gatsu, have you tried restoring your phone?
