Default Resetting 3G, keep the unlock?
Ok, I've just sold my iPhone 3G which is running 4.2.1. It has been unlocked through 02's service, but has never been jailbroken. My question is that if I restore the phone and wipe all the data will I lose the unlock? I've been told that it will be lost if I reset but then others told me that because it is an 'official' unlock I will not lose it, so I'm looking for clarification.

Oh, and this is my first post, so sorry if I put this in the wrong place. I also did search before posting but still found conflicting answers.

If its an officially unlock like you saying you will be good wont lose nothing.

How long does it take for a full wipe? The little wheel has been spinning a good 2 hours now and I'm just going to be mad as hell if I stop it and nothing has changed
