    So I got this phone a couple of years ago and jailbroke it when I got it. I now am thinking I may need an unlock for it and I'm wondering the best way to go about it. At the time I jailbroke it, you had to upgrade to 6.15 baseband which would give a high probability of breaking the GPS. I use the GPS so I decided not to unlock it at that time.

    Just wondering if there has been any progress in the last couple of years that would allow me to unlock the phone without loosing the GPS? I have seen there are some tutorials that explain how to downgrade the 6.15 baseband to 5.13. Do you loose the unlock if you do this? Is there a way to unlock without going to 6.15 first?
