    Default iPhone 4 factory unlock no service
    Just got done unlocking my friend's iphone 4. it has cydia but i have uninstalled ultrasn0w. the phone still says no service. i don't know what else could possibly be going wrong. should i just update to ios6 and see if that works?

    You got the provider to unlock? Or IMEI?

    I'm not 100% sure but I think a restore needs to be done for it to work.

    Plugged it into a computer and run itunes yet?

    You can use SAM to deactivate it and revert your lockdown to stock. Then reactivate it in iTunes.
