Iphone 4 was unlock but after jailbreak its say searching, help pls

No, bc the baseband he's on isn't supported for his device. Why would he not want a factory unlock though? It's cheaper than a Gevey.

No problem. Last thing I would suggest is to at least contact Blkcadi and ask her for the one she buys from. But if he feels confident in another seller he finds, that's fine too.

Ok now he tells me his iphone is Verizon, does tht change anything cause I only see unlocks for AT&T?

Never mind, for some reason when my friend plug his iphone in, it said congrats, your phone has been unlock, lol but thanks everyone for your help,

The device must be already factory unlocked then. Don't know why he was instructed to install SAMPrefs.

Edit: I'm also perplexed if it's a Verizon iPhone 4. I don't see how it's able to be unlocked without a SIM slot. Only the 4S has a SIM slot for CDMA carriers. Technically, using a strictly CDMA device requires flashing to another carrier rather than the term "unlocking."
