    Question (ASK)Unlock iPhone4 5.1.1 (9B206) 04.12.01
    Hi,there.
    I'm so sorry,if I've made mistakes in posting,cause I'm A NewComer here.

What I'm trying to ask about,is "An Old Question",that might be has been asked from many people.I'm so sorry about that, too. Please forgive me.It is much better for me to search the answer of my question from the older posting, but it makes me more confused.

I've iPhone4 iOS 5.1.1 (9B206) 04.12.01 BaseBand.I got that iPhone from Japan. The Original Carrier is SoftBank.I've JailBroked that iPhone, but still can't use it cause the iPhone still LockedDown.

I've tried to use several ways to UnLock my iPhone.Such as get UnLocker by purchase UnLock Software from iphoneunlockeasily.com.But it was A Junk. They just gave me a Tutorial How To JailBreak any kind of Apple Device, that everybody can get it in the internet FREELY.They didn't give me any kind of SoftWare.

I've tried to get IMEI Unlocker by purchase officialiphoneunlock.co.uk's product.I've been waiting for more than 1 and half month for the result, but still get no answer from them.Although, the pic of my CreditCard's has been sent to them.

I did try to use SAM.But it was too late for me.Cause it was July already.I've tried to collect some of information about Gevey SIM Unlock from the JailBreaker in my country, but they said it still Useless for iPhone4.

So,is there any recent news about iPhone4 Unlocker running 5.1.1 iOS based on 04.12.01 band???!!!!
Thank You so much for any answers and attentions.

It is strange why officialiphoneunlock.co.uk has not respond back to you, they are a reputable company according to some mods here..

That won't help him, they can't do a SoftBank Japan iPhone. Neither can UK unlocking site, they have it as pre-order right now which means can't be done (for now).

@OP no, there is no recent news. Only way to get that unlocked is request SoftBank Japan to do it. I have no idea what their policy is on unlocking though so you may just be out of luck unfortunately.

Official iPhone Unlock worked for me (Unlock iPhone, Official iPhone Unlock, Apple iTunes Unlock), but then my iPhone 4 was locked to Orange UK anyway, which they can and did unlock. My only gripe with them is no communication via email - whatsoever. I believe the SAM method is blocked now by Apple too you can't spoof your IMSI records.

Ya, sometimes they respond, sometimes not. They seem to respond when they have an answer for your question, when they don't they just kind of ignore it instead of giving some kind of reassurance that they are looking into it. Only happened a few times with me, for the most part they respond whenever I email them. Best communication I have received is from a site I use now for ATT unlocks: Officialunlocks.com - Official iPhone Factory Unlock for AT&T TELUS Rogers FIDO and Instant Unlock codes for Blackberry HTC Samsung LG Pantech Palm

Cheers Simon, do you know if Official Unlocks by any chance works with unlocking Rogers Canada? My Canadian mate wants to SIM-free on his iPhone now too lol.

With my unlock I gave up contacting Official iPhone Unlock and chanced it by putting in a GiffGaff SIM and Vodafone SIM, both activated beautifully - but without the need to connect it to iTunes or restore my OS and activate like they said I had to do...

    Exactly
I havent used their Rogers one yet but I use their ATT one almost every day. Any issues and they have a guy named Dan there that has helped me out big time and I am sure would help anyone else in the same way.

If it's their instant service one then it is generally 30 minutes or so. If it's their other one then it is normally 12-24 hours. I'm not sure what their pricing on their website for $60 includes (I have a custom account there with my own set of pricing and timelines).
