If it is indeed a Cricket iPhone, it is already factory unlocked, that's all they sell.

Where would I go to switch it to AT&T because I went in their and they said they couldn't do it
Under network it says cricket and that's where I bought it

Replace the sim card. I did a search and I was correct, all Cricket iPhones are factory unlocked.

Go here, type in your imei# and it will tell you if it is factory unlocked.

Ya, but if Cricket is indeed a CDMA network then a 4S will be programmed just like a 4S on Sprint or Verizon. So if that is the case then it will react just like a unlocked Sprint or Verizon 4S would. Meaning it will work with any sim card outside of the US, but will not work with any other carrier in the US, so no ATT or T-mobile.

It's says it is CDMA, I put in a friends sim card and it gave me option of cellular data network
I touched that and it said Vodafone and password and stuff

Found this: Cricket or Virgin: What's best iPhone deal?

    Important parts:
But for one group of customers, a Cricket iPhone could be enormously helpful: Those who travel overseas. Cricket says it will keep the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card slot on its iPhone 4S unlocked for international use.
But with Cricket, publicist Greg Lund confirmed, you could buy an iPhone, pay for a month of service to activate it on Cricket's network, then take the device on the plane and pop in a prepaid SIM when you arrive overseas.
The carrier will, however, keep its iPhone locked against use with other carriers in the U.S.
So, a Cricket phone is unlocked, but not for other US carriers.

So how can I unlock it then ?? Would absinthe work Or would I have to use tiny umbrella ??

When I put a Verizon sim in it, it did give me an option to get into the cellular data network and showed a bunch of Vodafone ip and password info entered into the phone

Absinthe is a jailbreak, not an unlock. And tiny umbrella is used in restoring to previous firmwares, no unlock help there either.

Your only shot would be a CDMA gevey ultra S from applenberry.com. I have no idea if they will work on a Cricket iPhone but they do work well for SPrint and Verizon. Maybe email applenberry support and ask them if they know if it will work on a cricket CDMA iPhone 4S.
