Ultrasn0w no service issue with Iphone 3gs 32GB 05.14.03
I have an iPhone 3gs 32GB !!!!!05.13.04!!!!!! not 05.14.03 sorry! on firmware 4.1. The phone was working perfectly before I decided to upgrade it to 5.1.1 and jailbreak and unlock using ultrasn0w. After I jailbroke and installed ultrasn0w 1.2.7 I got searching and eventually no service.
Note: Used custom ipsw's everytime so my baseband remained the same
Things I have done so far to try and solve this:
1. I have installed and reinstalled numerous times, rebooted, restored the firmware and rejailbroke numerous times
2. I installed the ipad baseband on 5.1.1 reflashed the baseband numerous times
3. Downgraded to 4.1 and installed the ipad baseband numerous times
Now I'm back to 4.1 with my firmware as 05.14.03 and I am currently still getting no service with ultrasn0w 1.2.7
Please help me out.
PLEASE NOTE: The baseband is 05.13.04 not 05.14.03 sorry!Last edited by Mwenda; 07-20-2012 at 03:09 PM.

05.14.03 baseband is not unlockable, that's why...
What are the 3/4/5th digits of your serial number? You might be able to put it back to an unlockable baseband, need to confirm first though.

What Redsn0w are you using? As it needs to be 0.9.14b2 (just to double check).

Ok so if your on 4.1, install the iPad baseband & leave it on that for the time being & install ultrasn0w... Do you then get a signal? If you can try that & let us know. Cheers

Take it back down to 4.1 & then install the iPad baseband (sorry to be a pain).

Fingers are crossed & let's see what happens with 4.1 on the iPad baseband with Ultrasn0w
Hopefully we'll make progress.

Ok.... Put the simcard your trying to use back in & re-install mobilesubstrate & ultrasn0w & reboot the phone (not respring) & leave for a little while.
Modem firmware shows 6.15.00...Last edited by Susty; 07-20-2012 at 04:56 PM.

Just thinking... If it says no service.. It's not searching.. Check the phone is set to automatic & not manual..
Ok so it's on 4.1, open redsn0w & can you now get that to ONLY install the iPad baseband (I know it's having it re-install it again), then run the check with the orange sim & the other sim..
Other question is.... This other sim... It finds signal & works in another phone right
If memory serves me correct it's "fetch iPad baseband" in redsn0w.
