Is it still possible to do if the phone is on 5.0.1 with that baseband? I was reading on clarified apple blocked this process is this in higher firmwares? Or

    if your is out of contract or purchased from eBay, just call the AT&T customer care and get your phone factory unlocked

    AT&T recently implemented a customer only unlock service, meaning you would have had to be a current AT&T with off-contract phone to have it unlocked...

    However it is worth a try to call, and call a couple times to get the "right" rep
