If Apple closes whatever exploit they use to unlock it then yes. Assuming gevey have a new unlock card that is. Sometimes there will just be no solution is the phone is updated, like with iPhone 4.

So what are the chances that an unlock comes out for BB 4.12.01? The iPhone 4 - 32GB I bought off a friend albeit $100 is locked to T Mobile (DEU) until March 2013. Which is fine since some jagoff decided to steal my iPod Touch 16GB a couple weeks back, so I have an iPod at least, wouldn't mind using it as a phone though...

Any ideas?

Lame. Ah well maybe I can sell this to someone in Germany for $350USD. Or maybe I'll pay someone who speaks German to call T Mobile to have it unlocked It is older than 24 months so it should be good to unlock by their standards / rules (google translate is awesome).

That site shows my phone can't be unlocked till march 28, 2013... Not sure why since it was activated in November 2010 originally.

Very strange that TMobile won't unlock when a phone is out of contract period. Did you in fact verify that for your phone?

There's a London England based company that can unlock pretty much any AT&T phone. But TMobile I know nothing about.

That's what Free iPhone Operator Check By IMEI said when I first got it before I Jailbroke the phone. The activation date was November 2010...

Well I have tried another option by emailing T Mobile (DEU) directly using google translate , we'll see if they get back to me or not. I may just have to pay someone I know (who speaks German) to call and see if they can do it.

Otherwise it appears I'm hooped till March 2013. Which I'm okay with since my actual phone (Blackberry Torch 2 - Blegh ) is up for an upgrade come October this year right when the iPhone 5 is supposedly released. I only bought this 4 cause I got it for a wicked price ($140CAD) so at very least I have a great working 32GB iPod touch.
