Thread: Is a carrier unlock permanent?

  1. #21
That's how it is with alot of iPhone stuff.... "Oh sorry we can't do this" "Can you please try?" "We'll give it a shot" and what do ya know, They always manage to do it someway, Somehow.

T-Mobile honestly believed they couldn't unlock my phone as I had bought it off eBay. When I explained how unlocking iPhones works my complaint was escalated to someone who actually knew what they were doing.
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

That's what asking for things does for you with these sales reps

Gather your the UK going by what you've said. Giffgaff do 250mins calls, Unlimited text, unlimited GPRS & free giffgaff to giffgaff calls for 10 a month, though unlike O2, you don't keep the 10 & you don't earn rewards every 3months.

So giffgaff still works out better bar 50mins of calls but 5 less...

Giffgaff is owned by O2 but is a virtual network.. Like virgin is to t-mobile... So actually they will do a rewards system.
