    Default Activating iphone 3GS on 5.0.1

    Hey,

    Trying to unlock a phone for a friend.

    I google'd and looked around this forum for a bit, so dont bite too hard

    Iphone 3GS on 5.0.1 Serial Week 44 of 2009 New Bootrom. baseband 6.15.00


    I am trying to get past the Activation screen, the phone wont activate so i can get to the home screen

    Any idea's

    I know how to unlock with ipad baseband and install cydia just cant get this phone past the activation screen

    You need a AT&T sim to activate it. You can also hactivate it with third party apps.
