    Hello, I just moved to Palm Desert, CA and now I have a shitty signal with AT&T dropping calls and not receiving calls...I was thinking about switching to Verizon but I would have to unlock, Correct???? And I can't because I am on 4.11.08, Correct????

    Unlock wouldnt help you even if you could. If you want to switch to Verizon you need to get a verizon iPhone.
