3GS 2 phones jb and unlock

2 questions for the experts:

1. Iphone 3GS old bootrom 5.13.04 is already jb and unlocked. Can I upgrade to 5.01 untethered using sn0wbreeze and unlock with ultrasn0w

2. Other phone is 3GS new bootrom, 5.13.04 and currently jb and unlocked on 4.3 something...I think it's 4.33. Can I now go to 5.01.

I want to preserve bb and only know how to jb with sn0wbreeze. .

I think you can use Pwnagetool 5.0.1, you need to have a mac though because it wont work on windows.
