I got a Australian locked iPhone 4 32gb on iOS 4.1 and baseband 02.10.04 that i got for free cause it had a cracked screen.
I have got the screen fixed but now I need a unlock for the phone! I got a Geevy Sim and this did unlock the phone but when i used the phone for the first time I could hear people but they could not hear me!
I tried using the device on Skype and people can hear me no problem so I am unsure the fault with the phone!
If possible I would prefer to be using a unlock on a preserved baseband with Ultasn0w or software unlock
Can anyone suggest a fault with the phone and also a fix to my unlock!
Also these are the SSH Blobs I have saved for this phone

There is no software unlock for your baseband. You can try and restore to custom firmware of 5.0.1 and use your gevey sim to test it out.

Ahh sucks I was hoping that one of the blobs I have there or even the 4.3.5 firmware would have a baseband that would let me use ultrasn0w :-(
Any idea of wot the problem would be with the lack of people hearing me when on calls?

Now that the unlock aspect of the iphone 4 has been clarified!
Would anyone else have a idea on how to resolve the lack of people being able to hear me would we presume it is gonna a hardware related issue or a Geevy sim related issue or a Software iOS 4.1 issue?
If anyone can help me out with this it would be great! Any help appreciated!

To by pass the lower mic and no use the top mic try a headphone.
Face time uses the little hole next to the headphone jack.
Normal Calls go through the lower left, the right lower is your speaker.
If they hear you with a headphone that means your lower mic is out.
if they don't hear you it could be a software ? at that point post again and update us =DiPhone 4 Unlocked on T-Mobile | Motorola Verizon Razr M on T-Mobile | iPhone 5 Confused

I have test the iPhone 4 using headphone and without on Applications such as Heytel, Skype and viber and also normal calls and none of them allow me to be heard but I can hear people no problem!
Would this lead us to believe that the problem is software related? What would be the best option to fix this as a problem?
Thanks for any help in advance :-)

Yeah sounds like a Software problem, restore from Custom Firmware.
Make sure to not restore from back up for now to keep the clean settings.
And then try again, also try not to JB for now.iPhone 4 Unlocked on T-Mobile | Motorola Verizon Razr M on T-Mobile | iPhone 5 Confused

I got fed up of not having faith in the unlock capability of the Geevy sim and the iPhone 4 I have on 4.1
Since we last spoke i paid €60 for a factory unlock from the Australian network and happy days it unlocked and updated it now to 5.1 with no Unlock issues.
My problem is still the microphone or something!
- I can hear people they cant hear me
- Speaker phone does not change this for me
- Headphones dont work as a replacement for the microphone on calls
- Heaphones work for Voice Memo
- Viber, Skype, Heytell all work!
- Voice Memos record no problem and can hear back perfect!
