How to remove passcode from ipod touch with iOS 4 without restoring

Someone changed my passcode and I need to remove/edit it.
I have accessed to the computer which it is linked to.
It is also jailbroken and the raw file system can be accessed by SSH.
Guides I have found on the web are for iOS 3.

How would I do this?

Ok. The person who changed it told me the passcode, so it's fine.

But I'm still interested. How would you do this?

The passcode is a security , only a restore can get it up.
