Iphone 4s unlock info??

Hey guys I'm on Verizon iPhone 4S and I was trying to unlock my device using this http://www.limerain.com/2011/11/new-...y.html?m=1...i want to ask if any one tried that

Actually im located in india and using vodafone .. I tried this method by first inserting the verizon sim and then the vodafone but edge icon doesnt appear...so i'm not able to activate using cellular connection...

did not know india has verizon service? also, verizon is cdma based (simless) technology.. how u switched siim? did u mean virgin?

No dude in phone 4 we couldnt insert sim but iphone 4s is world phone and verizon has sim tray in this now and the baseband is same for all the iphone 4s so i think it is unlockable

so your saying that your ip4s has a dual mode baseband and it will work as CDMA and GSM. From what i read, this is true. But non the less there is no software/hardware unlock available for ip4s gsm.

off topic, but can CDMA phones even be locked? if not, one can buy an unlocked ip4s and have a totally unlocked world phone
