    Default leave SIM card in when unlocking ?

    I'm trying to unlock a version 4.2.1, 3g iphone, with baseband 05.15.04 .
    does it matter if the sim card is in the phone when I attempt to unlock it ? should i leave it in or take it out before doing the unlock?
