3GS Unlocking on 5.0.1?? Need Help Plzz

Hi there!!!

I just bought a Brand New 3GS-8GB..Phone Originally had 5.0 Version, But I update to 5.0.1 by mistake,

Now how can it be Jailbreak & Unlock? I tried changing the BB to 6.15..on 5.0.1 with lates Redsnow.. but it doesnt work,,,,after redsnow finished processing its reboot but iTunes can not recognized and on the phone msg comes up says this phone can not be used, it has to restore,,,so i restore it again,,,,
i also downgraded to 4.1...which worked fine but when i try to change the BB again to 6.15 it goes in the same stage above that i mentioned ...

can any one tell me what can i do with it at this stage????

You cant unlock 5.01. I've read about a number of folks bricking the phone when flashing to ipad baseband. I would think you could go down to 4.01 and then flash iPad bb. Are you trying to flash it all together or doing it in steps.....

After successfuly restore it to 4.1 then I tried to Jailbreak n Flash the BB same time...I also tried that on 5.0.1...I don think it can't b downgraded to 4.0.1 or any other firmware since Apple stopped signing them...anyway wat is the solution?

Becareful with those 8gb 3gs recent batch , downgrading to 4.1 or updating to ipad bb may brick your iphone. If you don't see IMEI, No baseband and No Wifi, your iphone is bricked.
