Help on jailbreak and unlock iphone 4 ios5

Hi, as i was reading on the internet if found some info but first of all i need to check before i jailbreak my iphone with ios5. If i jailbreak my iphone 4 with ios5 firmware is there an unlock for it? I have 01.59.00 BB. And if i update my phone to ios5 is it true that if i reboot my phone i always need to connect my phone to a computer to switch it on again? Thats all for now and any help would be much appriciated..

what ios ver do you have now? you can preserve your 1.59bb while upgrading ios5, but there is only a tethered jb with ios5. if your currently @ ios 4.33 jailbroken and unlocked, i would prefer to stay there. to me, an untethered ios4.33 is >> then a tethered ios5.
