still cannot unlock my phone, is there software that can do it
I upgraded my iphone's bb to 6.15 b/c my baseband was on the list of unlockable. ive tried ultrasn0w and have tried it with several ios's, from 3.0 to the latest 4.x that would run right on the phone. is there a such thing as a software you can install on windows that you can unlock...even if it's complicated i would give it a shot. i know back in the day there was stuff like iliberty. and i used f0recast which said my phone was unlockable.
the way i used ultrasn0w
installed and rebooted
turned on airplane mode and disabled 3g
put my tmobile sim in
turned off airplane mode.
just says, no service, but it pops up and says i have a vm. i have drove around town with the sim in, where service is great, and still either searching or no service.Last edited by kissy; 11-23-2011 at 09:17 PM.

i indicated i used ultrasn0w. but thanks.
i definately reflashed the bb, one of the first things i tried. called tmobile last night who said my sim was not registered on the network. have tried this brand new sim on another phone, an htc, and it worked.
im open to all ideas that are fairly safe, wonder if someone can or i remotely unlock it with my ip and ssh password if i paid them. dont want to spend much money on a 90 dollar phone tho, probably just will end up getting a factory unlocked 3g/3gs on ebay for 200 bucks.Last edited by kissy; 11-24-2011 at 07:31 AM.

Try this I have seen it work before.
Take the SIM out and power off the phone. Power the phone back one, wait until it is fully up and then turn off 3g
and put the SIM in and wait. You might have to wait up to a couple of minutes.
