Thread: No dashes showing in phone numbers on iPhone 4

  1. #1

I am having issues with no dashes showing up in the phone numbers of my contacts and the phone not recognizing certain iPhone contacts and matching names with numbers on the iPhone 4. This seems to be happening after I unlock with the Gevey Ultra for use on T-Mobile. Once I restore from backup from my old 3G, everything is fine. But it's after the Gevey unlock that I'm having issues with the contacts. I'm on iOS5 w/ baseband 04.10.01.

So it seems that when I enter a +1 in front of the number is allows the dashes and recognizes the number. Is there a way around this or do I have go through each contact and enter the +1 on the phone numbers which are missing it?

Have you tried checking your Keyboard settings just to see if something is messed up there by chance? Just worth a shot right. Hope that helps. Thanks.

First make sure your region format in settings is set to united states.

If still having issues with caller ID you can try caller ID format fix in cydia (if jailbroken). If not jailbroken then you will probably have to add the "+1" in front of all the numbers in your contacts.
