    Default Use iPhone4 as iPod

    I just gt a new iPhone4 with iOS5 it was locked to AT&T and now when i switch on the phone it is going to setting up of iphone menu and finally shows connect to itunes.But in the itunes i am getting There is not sim card installed. i dont have the AT&T sim
    Now atleast to use this as iPod what should i do???

    You can use any AT&T SIM, active or not, to activate the device in iTunes. If you don't want to buy a SIM, although they are cheap on eBay, you can try and hacktivate it via jailbreaking with Redsn0w.

    This is true, I've used an old AT&T sim card from 10 years ago and it activated my iphone 4. I was a bit surprised.
