Two iPhones Two Sims Only One ATT Sim
Hello! Any help is appreciated!
My friend has an iPhone 3g on a legitimate AT&T account. I have an iPhone 3g on a Cincinnati Bell account.
Is it possible to use his SIM Card to activate my iPhone so I can put my SIM card back in and have push and everything working?
If I do this will it screw up his account or iPhone? Will he have to re-activate as well?
He doesn't want to jailbreak his iPhone so the nimble/inject method won't work.
Again, any help at all is appreciated!

Locked iphone can only be activated by its own official sim carrier.

Using his AT&T SIM won't hurt his account or anything else for that matter. It should be fine to use his SIM to activate your iPhone 3G, so long as your iPhone is originally locked to AT&T as well. He won't have to do anything special like reactivating or whatever.

Thanks a ton i.Annie! I'm pretty sure it is locked to AT&T. Is there anyway to tell for sure?

Put the SIM in and see if it activates, lol.
I'm sure there is a way to tell via model number but it's likely at&t if bought in the US.
