Unlocking a used 3gs 4.1 6.15.00? Crazy mess. im an idiot. but perhaps hope

I bought a used unlocked iphone 3gs on craigslist and for some reason decided to reset everything.
Why idk, but i also didnt decide to take a look at what specs it was running at before the reset..
After downloading tiny umbrella i found out that i was using 4.1 on 6.15.00
Now that i have reset the phone, and found out my specs. what do i do in order to jailbreak and unlock it again.
And what does the 6.15.00 baseband mean. plz keep it simple if you can.

6.15 baseband means they were on an unlockable baseband, so they flashed the iPad baseband so it can be unlocked with ultrasn0w. Now what does that mean for you? Well the good news is your baseband is unlockable once your phone is JBd. What you need to do is download tinyumbrella to see what blobs are saved to see what firmware u can restore too. The rest is too long to type on my iPhone. Google tinyumbrella and blobs and you'll get a good start. Dont fret your in better shape than you think.
