Ok guys its getting a lil confusing for me. So should I just try to restore with custom ipsw from SB, or try RS b6 with 4.1 to see if that works? To answer a question earlier posted. I did jb from emergency screen. I could not activate here as the phone is from the U.S.
It says Automatic "on" thats it. The only carriers in Guam for iphones is GTA. So after work I will try the SAM and see what happens. I used the link you posted above for RSb6 but the pages comes up with nothing but errors.
Guys thanks so much for your comments this is what I had to do:
as the phone was tried RS 0.9.6b6 (didnt work at all lock up the phone), so
reinstalled the IPSW from snowbreeze to iso5
jb it with RS 0.9.9b7, and went to cydia and did the SAM/SAM prefs
turned off the 3g, cellular data, went to SAM in settings and stopped the push (deactivate)
took out the sim card, and opened itunes to make it legit
rebooted with RS 9.9b7 and...........................I am now on GTA IMPULSE local carrier here in Guam!

Got my wife a iphone 3gs and having the same issues as before. Realized that its on 5.0.1. I didnt everything the same for my last issue but still have no service at the top of the phone.
