Can't connect to iTunes?
Here's the story. Bought an original, first release 8gb iPhone from a friend who used it locked to Cingular's network. He switched to Sprint last week.
I unlocked it today using iTunes 7.6.1.9 and ziphone 2.6b. Everything works fine, I can make calls and such on the T-Mobile network. However, I can't connect to iTunes. When I connect, this comes up.

I am afraid to do either option. Any ideas?
Also, on a side note, my contact list on my sim is missing on the iPhone but when I reinsert the SIM into my old phone, a Blackberry Pearl, it's all there. I know for a fact that the numbers are saved to the SIM. Any idea how to retrieve these numbers or do I have to manually enter them into the iPhone?

Just set it up as a new phone.
For transfering your phone numbers from your sim to your phone, there is a program on installer called simport.
Add http://sleepers.net/iphonerepo (Big Bosses repo source) to your installer sources, download Simport to your phone, it will install itself.
You are ready to go.
After transfering your phone numbers to your phone, sync with iTunes- you can store your numbers in iTunes and if you have to restore your phone for some reason you wont have to do the simport thingy again. If I could help you with my answer give me a

Trying to find Simport now. Also, I can't seem to add any of my iTunes library music files to the iPhone? Anyone know the cause of this and how to fix it?

My bad, I had to go to "manual sync". I'm really sorry guys, i've been away from iTunes for a very long time so this is the relearning curve.
Simport doesn't seem to be on Big Bosses Repo Source.

Thanks, I was searching BigBoss, turns out SimPort is from iClarified. I got the music on.
Regarding Simport and every other application I tried to add for that matter, I got a "Main Script Execution Failed!" error when I tried to install. Any idea on the cause and remedy of this?
I might add, i'm on WiFi, not EDGE network since I still need to reactivate my data plan/tzone plan

Try iSim, it works too.
You find it in the "Productivity" category.
About the main script execution error, make sure you have the latest BSD subsystem installed! If I could help you with my answer give me a

Ahh, I thought I updated the BSD subsystem but apparently I didn't. That was the problem.
I just imported everything! Thanks again to everyone for the help!
