    Default Okay, so quick question

I have just updated to iOs 5 while preserving my 4.10.01 baseband (using redsn0w 9.9 b5 to create the ipsw)

I unlocked the phone with Gevey Sim Ultra and I noticed some things:

1st: I don't have cydia so I'm assuming that my ipsw isn't actually jailbroken

2nd: I had to dial 112 when setting up my Gevey Sim Ultra and everytime I shut off/reboot my phone, I need to do the unlock process.

My question is this, is there a more efficient jailbreak? Is there a better unlock while preserving 4.10.01 baseband? If I unlock with a custom baseband, will I have GPS problems? (like the 4.3.3 jailbreak for the 3GS which I sold because I was sick of not have gps capabilities).

Are there any other options? lol

Nope. That's it for now. Be happy it works. FuriousMod is currently not installing correctly (as far as I have experienced) on iOS 5, so that option will not work (and only would work w/GEVEY Ultra Sims anyway).

Though you could also buy a 4S at full-price/off-contract from AT&T. They come factory unlocked.

I'm not gonna lie, I was tempted to do that. But a guy sold me a virgin iPhone 4 with charger, unopened headphones, manual, original box, the works for $225.

For myself, a fourth key at gamestop and freelance musician, that definitely fits my budget lol.

I can't afford $650 just quite yet. But I could maybe selling my current iPhone for half that price.

    We'll see.

For now, all I need is a good mms fix.

I can send picture messages but when I recieve them I get the "Media Content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction" notification

What's a fix for that (I have manually inputted settings I read about online)

Not sure. Interested to hear too. I don't use picture messaging since I use google voice.
