What's the difference between FAKE GEVEY SIM vs. LEGIT GEVEY SIM?

Hi, I just purchased an black iPhone 4 stocked with iOS5. I downgraded it to iOS4 version 4.3.5 (the lowest I can go since I didn't have access to previous SHSH blobs) along side with 04.10.01 baseband. I'm trying to do a hard unlock with GEVEY SIM, but here's the problem. I'm not sure what's the difference between a FAKE GEVEY SIM compared to a LEGIT GEVEY SIM besides the price. The legit one is $25, whereas the fake one is only $6-$10. Any replies are much appreciated, thank you.

Legit ones have F981 black chip and it is untethered for the automatic mode which requires Jailbreak and adding FuruiosMod source (furiousmod is the official source for legit ones)

Fake Gevey could work just fine but the signal strength and battery drain can't be guaranteed

I bought mine from ebay and it is genuine Gevey Ultra for 17.99$ few weeks ago and it is awesome

Signal is way better as well as battery life. I am on 4.3.3 with 4.10.01 BB

I have the legit Gevey Ultra on 4.3.5 unjailbroken and it's annoying having to keep doing the manual procedure.

I'm considering buying the blue Gevey sim because you don't have to keep doing the procedure.
