my friend gave me the phone so i was like cool i updated it from 4.1 to 4.3.5 and the 6.15. bb is it possble to go back to 4.1 at all?? and i have itunes 10.5 and i didnt think to ask u guys any help??

do you have saved shsh blobs from tinyumbrella? if not, you won't be able to go back to 4.1 as apple doesn't sign the firmware anymore. you may be able to go back to 4.3.3 without shsh blobs, but i don't know if apple still signs 4.3.3 seeing as how ios5 is out now.

Hi I made an acc just to reply to your post. You can downgrade ANY iphone 3gs/3g to 4.1 without any shsh because Apple still signs that iOS version for some reason. Also, remember to have tinyumbrella when you downgrade. The first time you downgrade, you'll get a 1015 error. Then, kick it out of recovery using tinyumbrella. It won't work the first time. You'll get stuck at the 1015 error. Restore again using 4.1 firmware, then kick it out of recovery. This time it will work. Have fun!!!
