I got given an Iphone from a friend, who found it a while ago and he had never had it working.
Since I got it it has been in recovery mode, it wont let me jailbreak it, it will install half way then restart and go back to recovery.
It won't restore itsself, i just get an error. It doesnt say on the back if it is a 3g 2g 3gs etc, but it has the model number and looks like a 3gs so i've gone with that.
When i rig it up to Itunes it says
Name: Iphone
Capacity: n/a
Software Version: n/a
but it has a Serial Number.

When i connected it to TinyUmbrella it wont kick it out of recovery, nor will Ireb
Also TU says
Device Model: -INVALID
Installed Firmware Version is blank
and no serial number.

I have no idea what Firmware it is on, i have no SHSH saved for it neither is there anyway to fix this? thanks.
