iPhone 3g stuck on searching or no service

Hello there i have an iphone 3g 4.2.1 baseband 05.15.14 its jailbroken and unlocked. But its stuck on searching i have tried both att and tmobile sim cards and still on searching i also restore it via DFU mode and still the same issue.

jailbroken using redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc8
unlocked via ultrasn0w

Does anyone know if this is a hardware issue or software.

im on the same problem , but , have you check if still says ''searching'' or ''no service'' even if theres isnt any sim card? because i have that problem . i dont know if it may be hardware related or something like that.

i think they are updating ultrasn0w at the moment for unlock on iso5
