3G needs activating

Hi guys

Hope you can point me in right direction
Got an iphone second hand and just stuck my orange sim in worked no probs as previous owner was on orange.

Damaged my digitiser glass and repaired it but it looks like it has dead area on bottom right of screen. Due to this passcode would not work as the 8 and 9 would not register. So i made a mess and locked the passcode.

Then tried to do a restore and got usual problems error 1215 and so on but umbrella etc sorted it out.
However phone was now stating sim card does not work in this phone despite the fact i have been using it in another ok.
So realised i needed original sim which i dont have so decided to try and activate phone using reds0w and doing the JB.
Loaded ispw 4.1 for 3G and used redsnow 0.9.6b1 and seemed to work fine. got into the phone but now no network. Tried to install Ultrasnow 4.3.3 but cant access wifi due to damaged screen not letting me press N or C.
Found utube vid on loading via diskaid and it seemed to work ok but now phone is stuck in a loop of being dead slow and just keeps searching for network and flicking between home screen, apple logo and blank.

Now restored back to 4.1 with redsn0w 9.6b6 and wondering how to activate.

Anyone help me out im pulling my hair out now.

Have you tried to use greenpois0n to jailbreak and then using diskaid to load ultrasn0w for the unlock?

Sorted it

Managed to get on wireless and installed ultrasnow. Worked a treat.
