3GS BB 05.16.02 Unlock - SHSH available

Hi, I'm currently stuck on 05.16.02 with firmware 4.1 on my 3GS and I'm trying to unlock.

I know that the only way possible to unlock on this baseband is to upgrade to the iPad BB then unlock that but since I have saved the SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella, will restoring them also restore my baseband? Or is there NO way to go back to a previous baseband once upgraded regardless of SHSH saved or not?

I've been waiting for quiet some time on this baseband and would appreciate some help. What other alternatives is there?

There is no way to go back after updating to the iPad baseband.

Thanks for the response. What I meant was, is it possible for me to downgrade the baseband from 05.16.02 if I've saved the SHSH blobs? I still have not upgraded to the iPad baseband.

Yup, I know what you meant and I answered. There is no way to downgrade from the iPad baseband. SHSH will not downgrade baseband. Nothing will.

Well I hope the arrival of iOS 5 soon will bring some new unlock possibilities then. I don't really want to lose my GPS functioning by upgrading to the iPad BB.
