3gs 4.3.5 ipad baseband

how do i unlock a 3gs with 4.3.5 stock?
i wanna install the ipad baseband but not sure how for this firmware.

Ultrasn0w may not work with IOS 4.3.5, you can downgrade to 4.1, jailbreak it and install ipad baseband, then install Ultrasn0w to unlock.

then why does it tell me "the device isnt eligible for the requested build"?????

This is because you are pointing your hosts file towards cydia, point it back to apple server and do your restore.

Run TU , uncheck set host file to cydia and close it.
Run iTunes and restore to stock 4.1.
Run TU , kick out error 1015 by exit recovery.

i just bought this phone after i switched to android... that was a joke. those phones are crap.

Setup as a backup restore in iTunes or setup as new and sync with iTunes
