need some help

so my mom bought a used 3GS off of ebay and asked me to unlock it so she can use it on T-Mobile. It arrived today, and it's on firmware 4.3.5 and baseband 5.16.02.

I've read many guides on how to jailbreak/unlock it, but I always run into some random problem on why I cant follow the guide. I dont have any SHSH's, or whatever else. I have a jailbroken iphone 4, and my last phone was a 3GS, which i unlocked for my brother to use on T-Mobile, but it's on 4.3.3 and has been since 4.3.3 came out. So im not entirely new to jailbreaking/unlocking, just not having luck at the moment.

Can anybody point me to a guide that will actually work plz?

Apple is still signing iOS 4.1.
Run Tiny Umbrella (see link below in signature pane), connect iPhone, get SHSH.

The TU general tab should have 4.1. If it does ...
you can downgrade to 4.1
install the iPad 6.15 baseband (breaks GPS .. and complicates future restores)
untethered jailbreak
unlock 6.15 with Ultrasn0w.

Go to advanced tab, check 'set hosts to Cydia', exit TU, restart TU, then get shsh
then un-check 'set hosts to Cydia', exit TU, restart TU, get shsh.

Give it a chance to complete. Any 4.1 SHSH now?

If not ... Ugg. Try on another computer (Mac or PC) if possible.
