That will do it.
Just remember you will lose GPS function by updating to the 6.15 ipad baseband and once its installed there is no downgrading it back unless you have an old bootrom 3GS (highly unlikely as those are hard to find these days)

well i ran into a near brick of a phone and tried EVERYTHING and couldn't get this thing to restore then it was giving me those cant restore errors, then got stuck in restore mode. Had to use tiny unbrella to repair then use that DLL fix THEN run the actual apple update restore to get the phone to turn back on.

so now its on the highest EVERY friggin THING and screwed.

Im going to see if the kid will trade his 3gs for my lower firmware 3g which can be unlocked.
Im on 4.1 so I just have to find a tutorial on jailbreaking and unlocking that.
