Unlocking an already jailbroken iphone

I have a iphone 3gs running firmware 4.1 on baseband 05.14.02.. jailbroken with limera1n. I want to follow this guide to unlock my phone:

in that video he jailbreaks and unlocks it. since i am already jailbroken, is there anything i leave out or should i uninstall my jailbreak and re-jailbreak it using his method?

Your baseband is not unlockable. You'd have to do a baseband flash with redsn0w to put the iPad bb on your device before you can use Ultrasn0w to unlock.

Note doing the bb flash to 6.15.00 can break your GPS permanently.

+1. what she said. Only do it if you are willing to accept the gps loss. I have had people flash to the ipad bb and then ask me how come their gps doesn't work anymore, lol :P

Yeah I can't tell you how many times I see people surprised about the GPS loss then come and ask why. Should've asked the forums before doing it, but you know at least we got the word out here.
