Lost! 3g jailbroken but not activated

Hello all,

I need to unlock, but I'm stuck. After working all day on getting a used 3G (iOS 3.1.3, baseband 6.15.00) jailbroken, it seems to have taken.

But now I'm stuck on emergency call page and iTunes is saying I need to activate. I need to unlock, as I'm using a Finnish carrier on an old AT&T phone.

Any advice? Sorry for the inevitable cross posting, the phones about to get thrown out the window.

Use redsnow 0.9.4. Point it to a 3.1.2 firmware and choose to install cydia. That will get you past the emergency call screen.

And still the classic newbie question. Synching with iTunes? Is the only thing I need to make sure is to not update the iphone?

Yup, just dont update or restore the phone and you will be fine
