MMS on unlocked iphone 3gs

I have a jailbroken, unlocked iPhone 3gs running on iOS 4.3.1, I was wondering if anybody could link me to a walk through on how to enable picture messages.

Also, I have all cellular data turned off because I don't have a data plan, so is it even possible for me to receive picture messages? I could on old phones without a data plan and it didnt cost me anything.

what carrier are you using? each carrier has diffent mms settings.
