3G 4.2.1 06.15.01 baseband - how to tell if my phone is unlocked

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to the ipad bb, then I installed ultrasn0w to unlock.

Problem #1: Since I installed ultrasn0w, my iphone keeps turning off then rebooting itself continuously. This usually goes on for about 10-15 minutes - until it finally stays on.

Question: Is there any way to stop the iphone from doing this?

Problem #2: Since I have stopped using my iphone with at&t (I plan on going with T-Mobile since I was informed that, once unlocked, I can use the iphone with T-Mobile as just a phone - without a data plan), there is not a working sim card in the iphone. I have no way of telling whether my iphone has been unlocked.

Question: Can anyone tell me if, just by installing ultrasn0w, my iphone will be unlocked?

It should be unlocked if you install ultrasnow. kinda weird that it continually reboots though.
