Default Activate Factory Unlocked iPhone 4
I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4, bought in Canada.
It is stuck in the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
I have a microsim from the local Carrier (I live in Argentina) and have tried plugging it, and yet nothing happens.
    What might be the problem?

Are you sure it's factory unlocked? If it were, any SIM can activate it.

Also, you've plugged it into iTunes yes?

That would kind of defeat the purpose of an unlocked phone since hactivation can lead to probs with push notifications, thus causing battery drain. Nothing unfixable though, but you know what I'm saying. He's supposed to have an unlocked phone.

What does iTunes say indeed? Maybe you haven't created an account yet? IIRC, I couldn't activate before having signed in to iTunes store with my Apple ID.

Do not hactivate if it is a factory unlocked iPhone.
