cant make calls after jailbreak

hi hope someone can help i have jailbroken my daughters iphone 3g using redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5 and i installed the ipad bassband.
i have also used iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Custom_Restore but now i cant make or receive call it does display my carrier which is uk voda and only has one bar signal. as you can guess im in big trouble with my daughter now so if anyone can help that would be great as i need it lol

come on someone must have some ideas lol

reds 0w dosnt accept custom fws to jb with. uhm im going to guess it has her stuff on it and that you don't want to try and restore it?
