Gevey Sim Unlock Battery Drain? Counterfeit or Legit?

yeah but I have 2.10.04 and for any chance that the dev team might unlock that version, I dont want to update the BB. We have all been trained to never update BB if you dont need to!!

I just wish someone would release this patch in its own package instead of only combining with ultrasn0w. People would pay for this patch! seriously. its driving me nuts

Just to compare notes, I'm running 4.3.3 with the latest baseband. Legit Applenberry Gevey Pro sim unlock in use, getting about 5% battery drain overnight on standby. Is this normal for Gevey? I think my 3GS was only using about 1 or 2% drain overnight.
I've turned off push messaging, notifications are on but all apps are off, location is on.

i bought a planning on buying one of those no cut pros because i have a fake gevey and it doesnt drain my bat

I have successfully unlocked my phone using a Gevey sim. The phone had ultrasn0w installed in the hope that the unlock for the phones 04.10.01 bb would be released soon. On reading this thread I found that the battery drain issue I was having was due to to the Ultrasn0w-Gevey combo. On removing Ultrasn0w I wake in the morning to find that my network is blocking the handset. Re-install ultrasn0w and the handset is no longer blocked. Any explanation for this and any suggestions of a fix that will allow Gevey to work around blocked handset issues without ultrasn0w?

Try restoring your phone's fw and jailbreak if needed and then use gevey to unlock to see if this solves your problem. Ultrasn0w has no use on this baseband currently and seems to be causing you problems.

^ right. Some people use ultrasn0w to fix the 1 bar problem.

However, I don't know if ultrasn0w is causing the battery drain but the combination of using ultrasn0w on a hacktivated device might cause it. So if you didn't hacktivate or you deactivated with SAM that can eliminate the battery drain with hacktivation+ultrasn0w.

I can say for sure ultrasn0w + gevey supreme causes excess battery drainage. I lose about 30% overnight if I leave ultrasn0w installed.

To Change the language Just reboot your Device and when gevey sim prompts just press "Cancel" then goto Settings-> Phone -> Sim Applications and change the Language to English.

I am sure about ultrasnow causing it because i fixed the battery problem on two iphones. Ultrasnow being used for fixing 1 bar on carrier.

more than 2 months i m having this prob, batterie drain within 24h ,dailly charging...
now i have uninstall ULTRASNOW everything normal from 02;30 till 11:00 i lost only 2% earlier it should be more 20%

I agree. All my problems with battery drain went away when I uninstalled ultrasnow. I still have the 1 bar problem but I have learned to live with that.
