    Default Upgrading by preserving baseband
    I wanna upgrade to 4.2.1..currently i am on 4.1 3.10.01..i wanna preserve my baseband because my gevey works on 3.10.01..i have my shsh saved..how do i go about it?

    to preserve baseband. use either sn0wbreze or pwnagetool

    Isn't the baseband for 4.2.1 stock 3.10.01? If that's the case you can restore to a stock 4.2.1 and still have that baseband. Its going up to 4.3.x that upgrades the baseband.

    Aside from that, you'd need SHSHs for 4.2.1 to restore to it otherwise you'll be forced to 4.3.2. In which case you would then use a custom firmware to preserve the baseband however the jb with custom 4.3.2 I believe is tethered. So if you don't have SHSHs for 4.2.1, it's best to stay on 4.1.
